True bonus days

Dear family and friends,

Thank you all so much for your love and prayers during this new journey we are now on. I feel I am being carried through this and am so thankful to my loving Heavenly Father as He hears, answers and protects me.

All your greetings are so gratefully received and although I can't talk much and have little energy for writing, I thank you for keeping in touch.

This has all happened very quickly as the cancer is apparently very rare and extremely aggressive. I am receiving the best of medical care and although tired because of the chemo, feel content and at peace and enjoying each and every bonus day.

With love to you all,
Kathy

Thanks Jenny for your kind words over these past months. Yes it is a new and blessed journey we are now travelling. I still have a couple of things to write about from our time away - I'll see how I go.

Dear Wendy and Ash,

How lovely to receive your message - thank you.

I am being lovingly attended to and have been keeping well during all the treatment for which I am very thankful. It's wonderful to have all our family around during the school holidays too.

Enjoy the rest of the break.

Hi Kathy
You have been in my thoughts, especially in the evenings as I check into some of my favorite blogs. I have read your lastest reply and it's wonderful to hear that you have been keeping well during your treatment.
May you draw on the strength and loving care of your family & friends as you go thru this time of treatment.

Dear Jenny,

Thank you for all your kind and encouraging comments over the past weeks. I still hope to write another couple of 'missives' but I'm not sure when - hopefully soon. Also I will probably get back into writing about enjoying the journey of life at my normal 'ambling-along' site so you're very welcome to join me there. If you have any trouble finding it let me know.

I do so enjoy hearing from you.

Good evening Kathy
Your ambling-along blog was where I first 'meet' you, so I shall look forward to catching up with you there again. I hope that you are able to spend some time at your country hide-away, to soak up the peace and beauty of the countryside.

Oh Kathy I just heard from Jenny McH. I am so sorry to hear of your illness what rotten luck. I haven't read through but I am presuming you are back in Australia and your family is near by.
I'll be in touch.

Dear Jenny,
Great to hear from you. Yes we are back and were placed in a 'whirlwind' of excellent oncology care and wonderful love and prayer support.
I feel I am up to writing a little of it now and will do so on 'ambling-along' as it is now part of my day-to-day life - a life I am even more thankful for.
