Itinerary

With less than three weeks before we leave, it is starting to feel a little more real. So from now on we shall be posting stories, photographs and sharing experiences of our travels during the next three months.
We hope you enjoy reading our 'missives'.

Here are our plans for those who would like to follow our progress ...

September 20 Depart for Budapest, travelling via Bangkok and Frankfurt.
September 21 Meet the Habitat for Humanity team in Budapest.
September 22 Travel by bus with the team to Hajdúböszörmény where we will be involved with the building project.
October 8 Start of our walk in the Little Vineyards of the Kozjansko Hills
October 18 Fly from Budapest to Heathrow, bus to Portsmouth, ferry overnight to St. Malo.
October 19 Arrive in Dinan, Brittany to stay in a Medieval house in the main street of Dinan.
October 27 Train to Paris where we have a room in an apartment(B&B) in Montmartre for five nights.
November 1 Travel by TGV fast train to Colmar in Alsace-Lorraine where we have B&B accommodation in this beautiful Medieval town on the French-German border.
November 8 TGV to Paris, Eurostar to St. Pancras station and on to Blockley in Gloucestershire (Cotswolds) where we are renting Silk Cottage for a week.
November 15-22 Catching up and staying with friends in a variety of locations in England.
November 22/23 Volunteer weekend at Fordhall Farm Shropshire, where Kathy is a very small shareholder of this community farm.
November 23-26 Staying in Shrewsbury for our 30th wedding anniversary.
November 27 Fly to Bangkok to visit friends.
December 4 Return to Melbourne.
